Our first stop on this tour will be to see the cliff divers of Acapulco, famous throughout the world for their breathtaking plunge into the ocean from a 114 foot cliff. Then we will go to a lookout point called “Symfonía del Mar” (Ocean Symphony) which has an incredible panoramic view of the Pacific Coast.

Close by this lookout point is a timeline of world famous artists/screen stars who have lived and died in Acapulco. Among the notable screen stars is Johnny Weissmüller, star of one of the earliest Tarzan movies to have a big impact(1932).

Those who enjoy history and movie trivia will especially appreciate this timeline.

Taxco is a colonial “magic” town located in the mountains of Mexico.

It is known throughout Mexico as a “The Silver Capital” of the country. Zihua-Ixtapa Transportation will take you to visit a historic pre-hispanic mine (silver, gold, and copper). There is also a beautiful Spanish colonial church called “Santa Prisca” with beautiful gold decorations inside. At the end of the tour you will be taken to “Silver Market” where you can buy a souvenir if you so desire.

From Taxco to Cuernavaca City is a 45 minute drive. In Cuernavaca we will take you to Hernan Cortez’s Castle which is now a museum open to the public.

There are a number of ceramic factories with ceramic house-ware products and crafts for sale, all hand-painted and very beautiful.

This is a 3 day tour. The first night will be spent in Taxco, and second night in Cuernavaca.
